Justin + Chelsey Meyers | Simple and Classic Newman Catholic Center Ceremony + Bella Sala Reception || Tiffin Wedding Photographer

Justin and Chelsey wanted a simple and classic summertime wedding. The attire was ivory, black and charcoal grey accompanied by beautiful, neutral florals from Hydrangea Bloom and gold accents in the decor. They were married on August 17th, 2019 at Newman Catholic Center in Iowa City. Prior to the ceremony, Chelsey had “first looks” with both her dad and Justin, which she credits as being her favorite moment of the day, saying “each one (with my dad and with Justin) were so special. My heart was beating out of my chest with excitement!”

Following the ceremony, the couple celebrated with a reception at Bella Sala in Tiffin with 250 guests. They said “it was so amazing to see all our family and friends there to witness our marriage!” They had cake and danced, and couldn’t take the smiles off of their faces. Their simple and classic vision had come to life with the gorgeous florals and candles on top of black tables accented with gold chiavari chairs, and a simple yet stunning two-tier cake. Chelsey’s advice for future couples planning their wedding day is “Enjoy wedding planning! Don’t worry about the little things.”

Growing up, Justin and Chelsey didn’t live far from each other, but they didn’t really connect until after college. They hit it off on their first date and two years later, they were engaged.
